Summary of Qualifications:

Her training in Art and Bench techniques began at Arcadia University, and continued through her employment at Metal Urges, an enameling company located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While with Metal Urges, JoAnne was trained in all aspects of the age old process of Cloisonne Enameling, ranging from technical construction, design, grinding and shading custom colors, setting gemstones within enameled pieces, to specialized metal techniques, such as Marriage of Metals, Repousse and Granulation. In addition to this, JoAnne has been involved with different aspects of the jewelry industry. As a liaison between sales and design staff, assisting in the marketing and production needs for a variety of venues.

Simultaneously, she began to develop an interest in expanding her knowledge of diamonds and gem stones. She worked with a variety of stone dealers within the Philadelphia area, who helped nurture her love and knowledge for these natural, enticing elements. JoAnne took this expanded knowledge of gemstones and incorporated it into her enameling techniques. She developed a line of gem stone and enameled jewelry which was carried by a variety of galleries through out the United States. During this time, JoAnne partnered with Rowan University Jewelry Program and provided Coop/Intern opportunities for their senior level students, allowing her to share her knowledge and passion for the craft, while increasing her work force.

As this developed, JoAnne's interest for formalized gemological knowledge grew. She became increasingly aware of the influence gemstones had upon all aspects of the jewelry industry, from design to marketing, and how this affected the value of jewelry. After researching different options in 2003, she decided to attend the Gemological Institute of America, Graduate Gemology Program, where she could receive the gemological knowledge needed to accurately place value within the industry.

As a Graduate Gemologist, her interest in appraising consumed her. She enrolled in and graduated from the Registered Master Valuer Program; with her qualifications and history, JoAnne joined the Jewelry Judge network of Jewelry Appraisers, opening an office in Roseland, New Jersey.

From Garden State Parkway-North/South:
Get off on the Exit for Route 280 West. Take ROute 280 West and get off on Exit 4B (Eisenhower Parkway). The Mack-Cali building will be on your left.

From NJ Turnpike-North/South:
Get off on Exit 15W (Route 280 West). Take Route 280 West and get off on Exit 4B (Eisenhower Parkway). The Mack-Cali building will be on your left side.

From 287-North/South
Exit Route 80 East. Take Route 80 East to Route 280 East. Exit 4B (Eisenhower Parkway) Roseland. The Mack-Cali building will be on your left side.

From Route 80 East:
Take Route 80 East to Route 280 East. Exit 4B (Eisenhower Parkway) Roseland. The Mack-Cali building will be on your left side.

From Route 80 West:
Take Exit 48 "Montville/Pine Brook". make left at stop sign onto Hook Mountain Road. Make right at first traffic light onto Bloomfield Avenue. Go thru first traffic light at Changebridge Road. Make next left onto New Road. Cross Route 46 and continue to Route 280 East. Take Route 280 East and get off on Exit 4B (Eisenhower Parkway). The Mack-Cali building will be on your left side.

From Route 280-East/West:
Get off at Exit 4B (Eisenhower Parkway) Roseland. The Mack-Cali building will be on your left side.

From Route 10 East:
In Livingston, pass Gateway Computer, make left thru circle onto Eisenhower Parkway northbound, (cross over Route 280) in Roseland. The Mack-Cali building is on your left side.

From Route 10 West:
In Livingston, at Houlihan's Restaurant make Right before circle onto Eisenhower Parkway northbound, (cross over Route 280). The Mack-Cali building is on your left side.
